Busking for Street Children

In 2008, we set up Busking for Street Children which raised money for Students Supporting Street Kids. Since then I have not had the time to develop the project but there was (and continues to be) considerable enthusiasm for the idea. Musequality, for example organises an annual World Busk in June.

There are potentially thousands of children across the UK who would gladly participate in a few hours busking spread over the summer. Busking for Street Children was designed to nurture and develop that activity but I have never had the time to ensure that happened.

The project and the website are there to be taken over by anyone with the time and enthusiasm to do so. Contact me if you are interested. andy@andywightman.scot
